Listings of death and marriage notices from Michigan newspapers at the Michigan Historical Collections compiled, 1975-1982, by Lambert; contain notices (to the 1860's) of Michigan deaths and marriages in Ann Arbor, Adrian, and Detroit, and for the following counties: Allegan, Barry, Bay, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Genesee, Grand Traverse, Hillsdale, Houghton, Ingham, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Kent, Lenawee, Livingston, Montcalm, Oakland, Ontongagon, Ottawa, Wayne, Washtenaw, Saginaw, and St. Joseph. Also paper, 1974, of Lambert containing brief calendar of articles about the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and Washtenaw County, Michigan, which appeared in the D̲e̲t̲r̲o̲i̲t̲ G̲a̲z̲e̲t̲t̲e̲, 1817-1830; and scrapbook 1910-1913, of Lambert, née Novy, containing programs and mementoes of school activities while a student at the University of Michigan; also photographs.

Outside of museum holdings, no comprehensive survey and inventory of campus artwork had been attempted since 1937. With support from the Michigan Commission on Art in Public Places, 1,076 items were inventoried during 1988-1990. Marguerite Felice Novy (married Lambert) was the daughter of Frederick G. Novy, bacteriologist and head of the University of Michigan Medical School. Marguerite was nicknamed "Peggy" in childhood and lived with her family at 721 South Forest in Ann Arbor. She received the B.A. from the College of Literature Science and Art in 1919 and did some graduate work in 1918-1919. She worked briefly for the Detroit Department of Health.
